Increasing Independence and Improving Quality of Life
At Frank’s Dog Centre, we understand the important bond between humans and dogs.
We are dedicated to training and providing medical & psychiatric assistance dogs to adults and children with a goal to improving and enriching their lives. Because of this, we work hard to match each client with the ideal dog to suit their individual needs.
Why Service Dogs?
Service dogs assist people with physical, neurological, or psychological disabilities to perform everyday tasks. They help people overcome limitations caused by the disability and increase their independence and quality of life.
A service dog provides unconditional acceptance without prejudices; love of the owner with no regard to the severity of the disability.
A trained dog gives confidence and the feeling of safety with its constant presence and will to help; it can give it’s owner the courage to try things they may not have attempted without that support.
They can provide alerts before the handler experiences a medical problem or assist when a problem occurs.
A service dog can be not only a positive, life enriching companion but also a very special pet that can bring much joy and be a friend for life.
